Cambron McKeever is a Creative Strategist based in Los Angeles, California.

As a Kentucky native, graduate of USC film school, and resident of Los Angeles, I’ve come to appreciate professional environments where collaboration and mutual respect infused with opportunity and a sense of purpose allow everyone to shine.

In the early days of my career, I was offered the exceptional role of Director of Worldwide Branding & Production for The Simpsons and Gracie Films. As Director of this department, I was able to introduce (The Simpsons) to the rapidly growing world of digital media and a vast array of new media outlets in their infancy. I also spearheaded several successful projects which included: a console video game, The Simpsons Game (EA); three mobile games including the show’s first iPhone app; and the first appearance of Homer Simpson on Twitter which Time magazine named one of its top Twitter feeds of 2011.

Following my time at The Simpsons, new pathways emerged on the vendor side of digital marketing leading me to join the entertainment advertising agency Trailer Park in 2011. My role in key digital campaigns with both Trailer Park, and later with BLT Communications, led to several prestigious projects including the much-hyped website for Borderlands 2 (2K), digital campaigns for Universal Studio’s Transformers The Ride, and the complete redesign of the South Park Studios website.

For nearly 9 years, while at Telescope Inc., I cultivated, organized, supervised and directed key creatives, developers and producers responsible for some of the entertainment industry’s most recognizable and celebrated digital and social campaigns. By the end of 2019, I was offered the new hybrid role of Vice President of Strategy and Creative Service; the twofold responsibility draws upon my extensive knowledge in digital and social mediums, as well as my background in branding and entertainment. Within a short period of time a novel division emerged (out of this role) with a focus on brand strategy and creative story telling relevant to the diverse needs of our clients in the digital, social and virtual worlds.

The many leadership roles I’ve inhabited over the years continue to provide amazing opportunities for me to perform at the intersection of creativity and business. While some positions call for more focus on creative and strategy, others have me at the forefront of operations and team management. The sweet spot that inspires my best work is when a blend of these elements co-exists effectively so we can successfully realize our client’s goal together!
